MONSTERS WITHOUT MASTERS
The world had gone quiet after the chaos.
The Hero Association was rebuilding. S-Class heroes were scattered. And Saitama, as always, had gone unnoticed.
But deep beneath the surface of the sea, a forgotten pulse stirred — the resurrection of a monster who had once terrorized the city with little more than rain and rage.
Deep Sea King had returned.
Stronger. Wiser. Alone.
No longer content with drowning weaklings, he now sought a rival worthy of his might. Not heroes — they were insects in disguise. He wanted a monster. A predator. A challenger to his throne.

MEANWHILE…
In the ruins of the House of Evolution, a flicker of life remained.
Dr. Genus was gone, but one experiment endured — the most violent, the most volatile. Carnage Kabuto had awakened from stasis.
He tore his way out of the lab, blood boiling, his mind empty of purpose.
But instincts whispered.
“Kill. Dominate. Find what’s stronger — destroy it.”
And as fate would have it, two monsters began walking separate paths toward the same destination:
Z-City Wastelands.
A graveyard of battles. Empty. Lawless. The perfect stage.

THE MEETING
As the sun set, painting the sky blood-orange, the air thickened with presence. From the east, Deep Sea King emerged from a broken aqueduct, droplets trailing from his scaled skin. From the west, Carnage Kabuto tore through steel debris with his bare claws, each step shaking the cracked ground.
They locked eyes.
Silence.
Then words.
Deep Sea King (calm, proud):
“So. You’re the animal born from man’s fear of weakness.”
Carnage Kabuto (grinning):
“And you’re the one that cried when it stopped raining.”
The Sea King narrowed his eyes.
“I’m not here for words.”
Kabuto rolled his neck, cracking every vertebra.
“Good. I’m here to kill you.”
No declaration. No warmup.
They stepped forward in unison.
And the earth broke beneath them.

ROUND ONE: THE TIDE MEETS THE FURY
Deep Sea King struck first — a low dash and a rising elbow aimed at Kabuto’s jaw. Fast — but not fast enough. Kabuto sidestepped and drove a knee into the king’s gut, flipping him into the dirt.
DSK rolled, recovered, and countered with a high-pressure water blast. The beam scorched Kabuto’s shoulder — drawing black blood.
Kabuto touched the wound.
“Heh. You actually hurt me.”
They clashed again. Fist met claw. Tail met armored plating. Their movements shook boulders and flattened trees. The wasteland became a battlefield of dust and force.
ROUND TWO: CARNAGE MODE
Carnage Kabuto grinned wider.
“You’ll like this part.”
He activated Carnage Mode.
The transformation was violent. His body surged in size and aura. The air screamed under the pressure.
He vanished — then appeared behind Deep Sea King, delivering a flurry of blows that blurred the eye:
1 to the ribs.
2 to the spine.
1 to the skull.
Each hit sounded like thunder.
DSK collapsed, barely holding himself up.
Deep Sea King (panting):
“You rely on speed… but can you endure pressure from the deep?”
With one burst of power, he spun and slammed his tail into Kabuto, sending him flying through a rock formation.
ROUND THREE: FINAL BLOWS:
Lightning crackled across the dark sky as the two monsters stared each other down — the battlefield soaked, silent except for the downpour.
Deep Sea King inhaled deeply, his body surging with energy. His rain-powered form had returned — skin gleaming, muscles bulging, fangs bared.
Deep Sea King:
“The rain gives me life. You won’t last long.”
Across from him, Carnage Kabuto remained still.
His expression was unreadable. Then, slowly… he smiled.
Kabuto climbed from the rubble, unfazed, laughing.
“You’re strong, Kingfish. But you’re outdated. I’m the future.”
He rushed forward with monstrous speed, grabbed Deep Sea King mid-charge, and drove him headfirst into the earth.
Then, lifting the bleeding king by the throat, he whispered:
“Extinct things don’t get to roar.”
And with one final hammerfist to the skull, he ended it.
Deep Sea King’s body hit the ground, unmoving.
AFTERMATH: APEX OF MONSTERS
Carnage Kabuto stood alone in the dust cloud, breathing slow and deep. His claws still glistened with blood.
Carnage Kabuto (to the wind):
“If there’s a stronger monster out there… send them next.”
Far above, on the ruins of an old office building, Saitama munched on a meat bun, watching.
Saitama:
*”Huh. Big bug beat the fish guy.”
shrugs
“Wonder what’s on sale today.”
He walks away.
Kabuto never even knew he was there.
🏆 Winner: Carnage Kabuto
Stronger.
Faster.
Built for evolution.
Even with the rain, Deep Sea King loses in a prolonged fight. Carnage Kabuto is stronger, faster, and more durable — and in Carnage Mode, his stats spike dramatically. He would overwhelm Deep Sea King with raw speed and destructive power before the Sea King could adapt or land a fatal shot.
Deep Sea King could hold his own for a while — especially early — but Kabuto’s power ceiling is simply higher.
