🌌 Opening Scene – The Planet of Judgment
A quiet, lifeless world floats in the far reaches of Universe 7 — long forgotten, with cracked surfaces and no life signs.
Beerus lands softly, arms crossed, eyes narrowed.
“You asked me here, Merus. I’m curious… Angels don’t challenge Gods.”
Across the black plains, Merus hovers above the stone, expression calm.
“I’m no longer bound. Today… I fight as a warrior. Not an Angel.”
A gust of cosmic wind passes between them. Above, the Grand Priest’s presence flickers momentarily — watching silently.
⚡ Scene 2 – The First Clash
No words.
Merus moves first. In a blink, he closes the gap — fist glowing silver with angelic Ultra Instinct. Beerus leans aside, narrowly dodging, and counters with a Hakai palm that cracks the crust of the planet.
The two vanish — fists clashing midair. The sky bends, light curves, sound vanishes.
Each strike is godlike. Each dodge is perfect.
Whis (watching remotely):
“This shouldn’t be happening…”
🔥 Scene 3 – Raising the Stakes
Beerus growls — eyes flickering with fury.
“You’re fast. You hit like Whis. But I’m not holding back.”
Beerus explodes in purple aura, his full God of Destruction ki unleashed. The ground collapses beneath him as gravity around his body spikes — even the stars nearby flicker.
He fires a Hakai beam, warping reality as it flies.
Merus doesn’t flinch.
He glides around it, pure instinct guiding every cell of his being. One palm forward — and the beam is gently diverted into space.
“Destruction energy. Crude. Loud. Predictable.”
Merus flashes forward, landing five pressure strikes into Beerus’ ribs in under a second. Beerus grits his teeth — coughing blood.
🌌 Scene 4 – The Forbidden Power
Beerus now breathes heavily, muscles trembling.
Merus glows brighter — Ultra Instinct reaching perfection.
The land has vanished. They’re fighting in the upper atmosphere, like gods dancing in silence.
But suddenly… the sky cracks.
The Grand Priest’s voice echoes across existence:
“Merus. Step away. This path leads to erasure.”
Merus (quietly):
“Even gods must be held accountable. I accept the price.”
He prepares one final strike — a divine, perfect technique known only to angels.
Beerus, sensing it, stops.
“Wait… you’d really throw your life away for THIS?”
Merus:
“For justice. For balance.”
🌀 Scene 5 – End of the Duel
The world holds its breath.
Merus charges, light tearing around him. Beerus lifts a trembling hand, knowing this next clash may kill them both.
But just before impact—
Whis appears. Time freezes.
“Enough.”
With a gesture, he intercepts the blow. Both fighters are suspended in time, still conscious.
Whis (sternly):
“This battle… cannot continue. You, Lord Beerus, risk the balance. And you, Merus… you tempt the void again.”
Merus’ aura fades. He lowers his hand, sweat dripping.
“Then this is the end.”
🕊️ Final Scene – Aftermath
Back on Beerus’ planet, silence lingers.
Beerus stares into the cosmos, arms folded.
“He would’ve beaten me, Whis.”
Whis smiles faintly.
“Perhaps. But then again… perhaps you were just beginning.”
Beerus snorts, lays back, and sighs.
“Damn angels and their sparkly moves…”
Far away, Merus vanishes into the wind, no longer angel, no longer god — but still a warrior.
🏁 Winner: Draw (Intervention by Whis / Grand Priest)
BUT:
- Merus had the upper hand
- Beerus respected his strength
- Had the fight continued, Merus would win… but be erased
